French winger turns on the moves at Kenilworth Road

WINGER Claude Gnakpa’s mother is playing her part in her son’s goalscoring exploits for Luton Town once more, writes Mike Simmonds.

Last campaign, the 27-year-old Frenchman found the net six times in three matches during March and revealed his form was all down to his mum’s homemade soup.

He found the target again on Saturday, with his fifth of the season in the 3-0 win over Rushden & Diamonds before unveiling some twinkling dance steps to the fans, and admitted it was yet again thanks to Mrs Gnakpa.

Town’s number 18 said: “I couldn’t celebrate the New Year but my mum just told me ‘score a goal and you will dance then’.
