Gray buzzing after debut strike
THUMPING home on his Luton debut was a dream come true for new signing Andre Gray, writes Mark Wood.
After joining from Blue Square North side Hinckley United in the week, the striker swivelled to volley home Keith Keane’s cross after an hour in the 1-1 draw with Grimsby Town on Saturday.
Gray said: “I did have a think about it before I went to sleep, picturing what could happen.
“I think it was a corner. Keano had a shot and I’ve took a touch and it’s come up to my chest height and I think I nearly took Kovacs’ head off!
“I think it was just my instinct to just get my shot off and thankfully it paid off.
