Guttridge injury not as bad as feared
Hatters boss John Still allayed fears over the extent of Luke Guttridge’s injury at Shrewsbury yesterday.
The influential midfielder was forced off late on after a heavy challenge and hobbled from the field.
Guttridge has only just returned from a broken metatarsal that saw him miss the end of last campaign, but a relieved Still said: “It’s not the same injury.
“This is why I’ve tried to use him tentatively.

Hide Ad“I didn’t start him last week, and I’ll be honest, if we performed as I feel we could have done last week, I’m not sure I’d have started him this week.
“I would have brought him on, that was my intention, just to give him time, but needs must sometimes.”
