The 22-year-old quickly became an ever-present after joining the club on loan from Premier League side QPR back in October.

He started every game, making 39 appearances in total, scoring twice, and now the season is over, reiterated his desire to be back on a permanent basis next term.

Harriman said: “Now we can start pushing to see if we can get something nailed down here.

“I want to be here as much as I can, the fans have been fantastic since I’ve been here, they’ve won me over I can safely say.

“From the minute I got here, they’ve always supported me. As a young player to have the fans’ backing is always massive, so I’ve enjoyed it. I’ve got to say thankyou to them for welcoming me here, it’s a special place for me now and I can see me being here for a long time.”

Harriman, who is out of contract at Loftus Road in the summer, confirmed he will now be talking to the Super Hoops about a move to Kenilworth Road.

While the defender was delighted to hear that Town captain Steve McNulty had backed his addition to the ranks too.
