The QPR full back has been an inspired acquisition by boss John Still, impressing greatly during his seven appearances to date since moving to Luton in October.

He has already extended his stint for an extra month and when asked if he would consider remaining for longer, he said: “Definitely, as I want to play every week and if that’s what I’m going to do here, then I want to do it.

“There’s a great bunch of lads, I’m having fun, enjoying my football at the moment, so if it comes to it, I definitely want to stay a bit more.

“We haven’t really discussed it though, I’m just keeping my head down and taking it one game at a time.

“I can’t look too far ahead into the future, but if it comes down to it again, I would love to stay even more.”

Since Harriman’s arrival, Luton have conceded just three league goals, with the defender putting that down to a solid and consistent defence.

He was played as a wing-back for the second successive week during Town’s 1-0 win over Tranmere on Saturday, and was pleased to be taking on a new role.
