There hadn’t been any expected business into the club after boss John Still stated recently that midfielder Olly Lee would be his final signing.

Speaking to the press after Luton’s 2-1 win over Leyton Orient in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, Harris confirmed that was the case, saying: “It was weird, we’re sitting there getting ready for the game and the transfer window was closing.

“We were never in the market anyway to get anyone else in, so we just sat and watched the TV.”

Luton had been looking to find new clubs for transfer listed duo Jake Howells and Curtley Williams, but there was no interest the pair or any of Hatters’ other players before the 6pm deadline according to Harris, as he added: “No there weren’t any (offers), not to my knowledge, I think we were left alone.”
