Hatters appoint Wood as goalkeeping coach

Town have announced former Charlton stopper Jeff Wood as their new goalkeeping coach.

The 59-year-old, who played over 100 times for Charlton Athletic, along with spells at Colchester United, Exeter, plus spending time overseas in Finland, Denmark, Malta and Hong Kong, replaces Dmitri Kharine who left last month.

Following his playing career, Wood has also coached in America, was director of football for the Gibraltar Football Association and managed a number of clubs, including a short spell in charge of Brighton & Hove Albion.
