Town manager approaches a year in the job

DEFIANT Hatters manager Richard Money launched a passionate defence of his tenure during an intriguing press conference on Friday, writes Mike Simmonds.

The former Walsall manager celebrates a year in charge at Kenilworth Road at the end of this month and called the meeting with journalists after the 2-1 defeat against Crawley Town on Tuesday night.

Speaking for over half an hour, the boss insisted the club is definitely on the right track under his stewardship.
