Hatters’ clash with Mansfield goes ahead as EDL change dates
Luton Town’s Sky Bet League Two fixture with Mansfield Town, scheduled for Saturday, November 29, at Kenilworth Road will go ahead as planned.
The match had been in doubt with the English Defence League (EDL) proposing a march through Luton, but a statement on the club’s official website said: “As was reported two weeks ago, Bedfordshire Police advised the club of a potential English Defence League march through Luton on the same day.
“However, the EDL march is now due to take place on another day, allowing the Town’s match with the Stags to take place.”
