Hatters could be set for Gray windfall after Hull City bid
Luton Town could receive a welcome boost to their coffers after Hull City submitted a formal bid to Brentford for his services this afternoon.
The Tigers, who were relegated to the Championship last season, have offered the Bees £9m for the Gray, along with defender Moses Odubajo, according to Sky Sports News.
It is believed that Odubajo’s release clause is £3.5m, which would see Gray valued at £5.5m, with Luton receiving just over £1m if the transfer goes through.
There have already been a number of departures from Griffin Park during the close season, with the likes of Stuart Dallas and Jonathan Douglas both moving on.
