Hide AdDespite having all of the play throughout the game and particularly in the second half, a mixture of excellent keeping by the home stopper, resolute defending and some poor finishing meant Town could not add to their tally after the break.
U18s boss Paul Driver said: “I am happy on one hand because it is a win away from home and we are safely through to the next round with no injuries incurred.
“Having said that, we were far from our best on the night in front of goal and we have to convert more than four of 35 chances we created.”
