Hatters defender Pearson is a doubt for Saturday's trip to Hull
Centre half Matty Pearson remains a doubt for Saturday’s crucial trip to Hull City after suffering an ankle injury.
The 26-year-old defender had started the first four games since lockdown ended, moving to right back for a number of fixtures, before being dropped to the bench for the 1-1 draw with Barnsley.

"But he rolled his ankle and we wouldn’t want to risk him, because yes we want to survive but we don’t want to risk Matty’s long-term future in any way.
“He’s just rolled it, a slight tweak on his ankle ligaments, so hopefully he can play some part but it’s just not possible at the moment.”
Pearson has been a regular since arriving at the club during Jones' first spell in charge, signing a three year deal in the summer of 2018.

The boss added: “The type of character he is, he hates missing out on anything really, especially as he feels he can help the cause.
“He’s been a wonderful signing.
"He was brought in at the time where it was ironic really because we were one of the most fluent, attacking sides and then we went out and signed two centre-halves (Pearson and Sonny Bradley) and I think eyebrows were raised.
"But they were such a calibre that we knew to play like that we needed that platform and he’s been a wonderful, wonderful signing.”
