LUTON Town fans turned out in their thousands at Eastlands on Saturday, but it was all to ultimately end in disappointment after the Hatters were beaten on penalties by AFC Wimbledon.
Missed spot kicks from Alex Lawless and Jason Walker condemned Town to yet another season in the Blue Square Bet Premier, while their opponents celebrated their rise to the Football League.
