Hatters fixtures announced on Tuesday

The release had been pushed back to Wednesday due to the Conference hearing on Rushden’s appeal, but as that has now been cancelled, the fixtures can come out as planned at 11am.

A statement on the Blue Square Premier website read: “The Football Conference has this afternoon been informed by the Football Association that the appeal lodged by Rushden & Diamonds FC against expulsion from membership of the Football Conference has been withdrawn by those representing the club.

“The hearing, scheduled for Tuesday, 5th July, has now been cancelled and the Football Conference decision to expel Rushden & Diamonds is ratified.

“A full statement by Brian Lee, Chairman of the Conference Board of Directors, will be released via this website at 11am tomorrow (5 July) concerning issues relating to this matter. At the same time the official fixture list for 2011/12 for all three divisions of the competition will be formally released to clubs and the media.”
