Hatters hopeful of signing McGeehan permanently

Luton Town boss John Still is hopeful of turning Norwich City youngster Cameron McGeehan’s loan deal at Kenilworth Road into a permanent one next season.

The 20-year-old has scored twice in nine games since returning to the club and admitted after his match-winner at Tranmere Rovers he would like so stay with the Hatters.

On the possibility of signing him, Still said: “We hope so yes, all talks are designed that way so absolutely.

“He’s one of the young, hungry ambitious players that we do want to bring here.

“That was always the plan when I came, when I identified him, can we do it? So I’m really positive about it yes.”
