Hatters make 11 changes for Staines tie

Town boss John Still made 11 changes to his side for their FA Trophy first round clash at Skrill South side Staines Town this afternoon, writes Mike Simmonds.

The only senior players to be involved were Jake Howells, Shaun Whalley, Matt Robinson and Mark Cullen, while Arnaud Mendy was brought in from the cold for his first start since the 0-0 draw at Wrexham in March.

Hatters handed debuts to loan signings Pelly Ruddock and Joe Davis, while Tinashe Chabata and David Viana also came in for their first starts, as Town’s average age of the side was a mere 20.9 years.
