Luton ran out 3-0 winners at AFC Wimbledon on Easter Monday after turning in a brilliant performance.
The Hatters led through Kasey Palmer’s first half goal, while Ali Al-Hamadi and Jake Richards were both on target in the second period and to find out how the Town players rated on the afternoon, see below.

9. Emilio Lawrence: 8
Wingback looked like his game was going to be cut short early on as he hurt his ankle in a 50-50 challenge, but with Bramall ready to come on, he was able to shrug the issue off and continue. Instantly paid dividends as well, knocking the ball forward and sprinting away from his markers to pick out Palmer who did the rest. Tried to get on the scoresheet himself during a fine first half, sending one drive at Bishop and then opened his body up to brush the outside of the post with others in support. Might have picked out a man instead at times, but can’t knock his direct approach and willingness to try and score, as after the break, he was always an outlet, stretching to put one volley wide. 10. Jake Richards: 8.5
Kept his place in the side after scoring on Good Friday and had promising moments in the first half, but Town just couldn't drive their clear superiority home against a poor AFC Wimbledon team. That all changed after the break as he took Naismith's pass and delayed his through ball perfectly to send Al-Hamadi away, the striker clipping into the bottom corner to open his account. Showed some real nous to pick up a booking when the Dons were looking to make a rare break, while he was the one who put the icing on the cake late on, with an incredibly cool sidefoot finish into the bottom corner following barely any backlift, to ensure the points were definitely safe. 11. Nahki Wells: 6.5
Forward should really have opened the scoring on just three minutes as found by Palmer’s square pass in a wonderful position and completely unmarked, he had time to pick his spot, only to end up dragging wide of the target. Thankfully it didn't matter too much as Luton soon took the lead, but not long after that, he was forced to come off having suffered a groin issue which will more than likely rule him out of playing at Wembley this weekend. 12. Ali Al-Hamadi (SUB): 8.5
Came on after 17 minutes due to Wells’ injury and took a while to find his feet, having some good moments in the final third only to see the ball get away from him, Started to come into it more after the break though, sent away by Richards and coolly clipped a low finish beyond Bishop to end his long-awaited search for a first Luton goal. Looked a different player after that, having another effort deflected over, and collided with the post when almost turning in Jones' cross. Held the ball up well too, using his body to find Walsh for a shot and then picked out Richards for the third. Denied a second by a goal-line clearance, but finally looked like the striker Town had signed back in the summer. Photo: David Horn
