Hatters rated against Wrexham

Elliot Justham: 6.5 - Very little to do against a strong Wrexham side, although was thankful to Anthony Charles’ goal-line clearance late on.

Brett Longden: 7 - Young defender showed no signs of nerves or rustiness after a lack of first team football this season as he competently snuffed out any threats.

Jake Howells: 7.5 - Captain put in a fine showing at full back and bombed forward, particularly in the first half.

Anthony Charles: 8 - Great to see him back and playing. Looked strong in the air and cool in possesssion too.

Joe Davis: 7.5 - Been a useful acquisition for Town already as he quietly went about his job alongside Charles.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu: 8.5 - Seems to have endless energy as he was racing forward in the closing stages. A real find.

Ian Rees: 8 - Highly promising full debut from the youngster who looked like he had been around for years.

Matt Robinson: 8.5 - All action performance as he really stepped up to the place in midfield.

Shaun Whalley: 7 - Frustrating afternoon from the winger whose final ball often went awry. Never hid though and his corners set up both goals.

Alex Wall: 7.5 - Much more like the player Still has said he can be. Won headers and gave both Wrexham centre halves a tough afternoon.

Mark Cullen: 7.5 - fantastic header for the goal and showed his delivery was good too after being asked to play slightly wider.

Zane Banton (sub): 6 - Brought on for the final few minutes with the game all but up.
