Luton ended their winless run on the road in the Championship with a magnificent 1-0 win at Bournemouth on Saturday. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's goal midway through the second half was enough for Town to claim all three points against a Cherries side who had to play over an hour with 10 men once Jefferson Lerma was sent off. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
1. Simon Sluga: 8
Yet again, would have expected to face more attempts given the Cherries’ free-scoring ways at home. Relatively untroubled, but a big stop late on from Riquelme, turning aside his volley ensured Luton came away with three points.
2. James Bree: 7.5
His athleticism on the right helped keep things tight as he finally looks over the injury problems that have hindered his start to life at Kenilworth Road permanently, part of an excellent defensive display on the road.
3. Dan Potts: 8.5
Started at left back, but had to drop inside once Lockyer went off due to his blow to the head. Solid showing throughout with one absolutely magnificent sliding intervention that prevented Solanke’s shot from giving Cherries the lead.
4. Tom Lockyer: 7
Part of a five-man defence for the game and was growing into the contest until hit by Lerma’s trailing arm when going up for a header and was left covered in blood. Tried manfully to continue but had to give way for Naismith.
