Luton scored a stoppage time equaliser for the second game running as they picked up a 1-1 draw at Bristol City on Wednesday night. Striker Danny Hylton was the hero with his first goal of the season from Carlos Mendes Gomes' cross to find the net for the first time since March 2019. 5. Reece Burke: 8
Managed to keep the City defenders at arms length for the majority and showed a real cool head when bringing the ball out from the back. Beaten by Baker for the opener, but chip into the danger area led to Town’s late leveller.
6. Kal Naismith: 8.5
Late replacement for Bradley and apart from one mistake early on, produced an excellent display at the back, with a terrific cross for Jerome too. Alert to the danger particularly second half making sure Town werent caught on the counter.
7. Henri Lansbury (STAR MAN): 9
Absolutely oozed class throughout as the midfielder was easily the best player on the pitch from either side. Tremendous range of passing, while he showed great technique to test Bentley from range. Could be a star for Luton this term.
8. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 8
Had a great physical battle with Massengo as the two went head to head in midfield. Lovely run saw him take Lansbury’s pass and crash against the bar, while had a hand in the late equaliser, his flick-on leading to the mistake by Bentley.
