Luton continued their unbeaten start to the season with a well deserved point at recently relegated Burnley on Saturday.
The Hatters went ahead through Dan Potts’ first goal in almost 18 months after just five minutes, only to see Josh Brownhill level in the opening moments of the second half.
Although the Clarets went on to dominate possession, Nathan Jones’ men kept them at arms length for the majority, as the spoils were shared.

5. Amari’i Bell (STAR MAN): 8.5
Against his former club, which appeared to have gone unnoticed by the home fans, he turned in his best display of the season. Solid defensively, with little getting through on his side, he was instrumental in Luton’s terrific first half showing, going on some mazy runs and slipping some terrific passes through the home back-line to find the galloping Doughty. Dug in after the break when it became more even, as late on, his ball out to Luton's wingback and ensuing run to take markers away led to the equaliser. Had the most touches of the ball for either side as well, with 93 in total. Photo: OLI SCARFF

6. Alfie Doughty: 6.5
Early cross was inches away from the sliding Adebayo, as he was found by Lokonga’s raking passes from deep. Couldn't quite reach his previous heights on the night, with his eight corners not having the kind of menace they have done, while the Clarets defenders were often able to win the ball back when he ran at them. Reacted well to clear after Kaminski saved early on though and showed just why he is so important when his stoppage time cross was met by Morris for a dramatic leveller. Photo: OLI SCARFF

7. Ross Barkley: 8.5
Midfielder absolutely dominated the opening stages of the game for Luton as he got on the ball at every possible opportunity with some of his crossfield passes arrowed out to the feet of Ogbene on the right flank simply outstanding. Tried his luck with a number of shots from range, one tipped over by Trafford and the others blocked by some desperate defending from the hosts. Found it tougher to break through as the Clarets had something to hold on to, but yet another display to keep those England recall rumours going. Photo: Gareth Copley

8. Sambi Lokonga: 7.5
With Barkley finding Ogbene on the right, he took it upon himself to pick out Doughty in space on the left whenever the chance arose, managing to do so with unerring accuracy. His combination with the England international allowed Town to set their stall out early and overrun their opponents in what was, for the majority, a top class first half display. Brilliant sliding tackle extinguished a Clarets attack, as he went off in the closing stages for Berry. Photo: Naomi Baker
