Luton secured yet another crucial three points in their quest for the Championship play-offs with a 1-0 win at Cardiff City on Monday.
Harry Cornick scored the only goal of the game with 18 minutes to go, heading home Robert Snodgrass’s cross and to find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Dan Potts: 8
Restored to the side once more and continued to show he won’t let anyone down keeping things simple defensively and clearing his lines when needed. Might have opened the scoring early on too, looping a header over. Photo: Liam Smith
6. Kal Naismith: 8
Did well to fashion one shooting opportunity in the first period but curled wide of the target. Loose pass almost saw City move in front, but like the rest of the side, totally committed to the cause for the 90 minutes. Photo: Alex Pantling
7. Robert Snodgrass (STAR MAN): 8
Was behind Town’s promising start, setting up two good chances. After the break, saw an effort saved by Phillips, before pinpoint cross set up Cornick. Work off the ball caught the eye throughout, throwing himself in the way of everything. Photo: Alex Pantling
8. Allan Campbell: 8
Continued in the same vein as against Forest, motoring round the pitch to get amongst the Cardiff midfielders. His pressing was essential when Town moved ahead, ensuring Luton saw the victory out fairly comfortably. Photo: Liam Smith
