Luton ran out 2-1 winners at Cardiff City last night as they completed a quickfire Welsh double by beating Steve Morison’s side just 10 days after triumphing 2-0 at Swansea City.
Luke Freeman and Gabe Osho both scored early in the second half to make it 2-0, as although Romaine Sawyers pulled one back late on, the visitors had done enough to secure victory.

As Onyedinma did, had a fine impact off the bench, taking just six minutes to double the Hatters’ lead and also net a first goal in Luton colours. Had to revert to his midfield duties afterwards, booked for stopping a promising home attack, while saw a late curler drift wide. Photo: Ryan Hiscott

Came on for Morris with Luton 2-0 to the good as he looked to occupy the home defence alongside Adebayo. Won some clever free kicks and might have put the result beyond doubt when clean through, only for an excellent last-ditch sliding challenge to prevent him from doing so. Photo: Ryan Hiscott

Only had the final four minutes plus stoppage time, but he played his role in securing the victory. Had a fair few touches as he made sure Luton enjoyed some good territory in stoppage time, while his flick-on for Jerome sent the forward away. Photo: Liam Smith
