Luton ended an almost six month wait for an away win as they triumphed 2-1 at Cardiff City on Tuesday night.
The Hatters had fallen behind five minutes into the second period, only to level through Jordan Clark’s stunning strike and claimed all three points with 10 minutes left courtesy of Thelo Aasgaard’s decisive strike. To find out how the Town players rated, see below.

9. Alfie Doughty: 5.5
Didn't really use his set-piece prowess as he has done so often throughout his Luton career, under-hitting a number of his deliveries, with some of them not even making it into the area either, allowing City to repel them easily. With Town struggling to put any attacks together in the first period, that started to change once they fell behind, Doughty having a hand in the Hatters' leveller, seeing his ball into the box deflected up and cleared out for Clark to do the rest. Wasn't on the pitch for the restart though, replaced by Alli. Photo: Jess Hornby

10. Carlton Morris: 6
With the first half one that had nothing to write home about, the striker did at least try and lead the line for the Hatters, going up against the City defenders to win eight headers in total, but unfortunately his flick-ons weren't read by any of his team-mates, Town unable to make the most of them. Tried unsuccessfully to shield the ball out for a throw inside his own half which allowed Cardiff to nick possession back and win the free kick from which they took the lead. Denied an instant equaliser by Horvath, before going off late on for Bowler. Photo: Jess Hornby

11. Elijah Adebayo: 5
Kept his place upfront as Bloomfield went with two forwards to try and give Town every chance of getting the result they needed. Linked up occasionally with Morris in the first period, before being freed by Aasgaard, although disappointingly chose not to drive on and get his shot off, looking to find his team-mate instead as his pass, like almost everyone else's in the opening period, was cut out. One clever backheel did set up a chance for his strike-partner moments after Luton had fallen behind, before he was substituted the moment Town had made it 1-1. Photo: Richard Pelham

12. Milli Alli (SUB): 7.5
On with the scores level, he was a breath of fresh air to the contest when replacing Doughty on the left hand side. Eager to get on the ball at every opportunity, he breezed past his opponents with real ease at times, dummying two defenders impressively inside the box only to fire into the side-netting. Displayed a real attacking intent, but also tried to help out defensively when the Hatters had the lead in the closing stages as he is definitely pushing for more than just a cameo now.
