Luton saw their four game Championship run ended in a disappointing manner, hammered 4-0 by Cardiff City on Saturday. Town were 2-0 behind inside just nine minutes, with the hosts adding two more in the second period to complete the rout. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
13. James Bree (SUB): 3.5
Introduced as part of a double sub before the break, but it didn’t have the impact boss Jones would have wanted, Luton barely featuring as an attacking force, while the defender was easily outjumped by Moore for the third goal.
14. Elliot Lee (SUB): 3
Came on just as Town fell 3-0 behind so any impact he might have planned was gone. Few sprints forward more often than not came to nothing.
15. Tom Lockyer (SUB): 4
Given 20 minutes at the end after spending the last few games on the bench and will no doubt be anticipating to be on from the start against Norwich in midweek, give the ease at which the visitors' defence was breached.
16. Joe Morrell (SUB): 5.5
One of the only players to come out with any credit, as he looked to get on the ball and drive Town forward, inches away from a wonderful consolation, his effort from distance hitting the inside of the post.
