Luton slumped to a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Derby County on Good Friday. The visitors conceded goals early in each half as Wayne Rooney's side picked up a valuable victory in their bid to stay in the Championship this term. To find out how Town rated on the afternoon, see below.
9. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 5
Tried manfully when Luton got hold of the ball in midfield but couldn’t replicate the kind of deliveries he sent over for goals at Nottingham Forest and Preston. Quiet second half as Town didn't look like getting back into the contest.
10. Harry Cornick: 4.5
Offered very little threat as Luton didn’t really feature too much as an attacking force for large periods. One good run in the second half saw him finally find space inside the area only to then try and find a team-mate rather than shoot.
11. Elijah Adebayo: 5.5
Striker did so much right on the day by getting into some excellent positions but this time his finishing was off. Put two decent headers wide although simply had to beat Marshall from close range to make it 1-1 and change the game.
12. Tom Ince (SUB): 4
Came on before the hour mark against his former club with the intentions of making Town more of a threat in the final third, but the visitors never once looked like netting a consolation.
