Luton's players celebrate Fred Onyedinma's leveller
. Simon Sluga: 6
Never seems to enjoy his trips to Pride Park as had to hastily clear Sonny Bradley’s backpass in the first half. No chance with Lawrence’s opener but should have done much better with Knight’s angled drive that went through his legs.
. James Bree: 6.5
With Town doing little in terms of concerted attacking, his threat going forward was limited. Showed some fine control, but set-pieces weren’t always up to scratch, although did assist the equaliser, his cross met by Adebayo’s towering header.
. Amari’i Bell: 6.5
Was rolled too easily in the box by Knight for his goal as Luton fell behind for the second time in the game. Had looked fairly composed in possession and did try to advance on the left when the chance arose.
. Tom Lockyer: 6.5
Dogged display from the defender who cleared his lines effectively when the chance arose. Long ball forward almost led to the winner with Adebayo flicking on for Onyedinma’s effort that hit the bar.
. Sonny Bradley: 6
A very un-Bradley-like performance as he was caught in possession in the first half, Derby capitalising to take an early lead. Went rashly diving in during the second period as well, lucky not to catch his man. Did go close with a header though.
9. Jordan Clark: 5
Sent one hopeful effort wide from 25 yards after Town had fallen behind, but never given the option to influence the game as he was hooked on 30 minutes along with Naismith, boss Jones making his changes early.
10. Harry Cornick: 6.5
The odd snapshot apart, never looked like getting the kind of opening he had enjoyed at Millwall, well marshalled by the Rams back-line. Didn't give up though as he always remained a threat, battling brilliantly to deliver one first half cross.
11. Elijah Adebayo: 6.5
Had a tough night up against two of the more experienced centre halves he will face this season. Didn’t let his frustrations get the better of him though and rose excellently to cushion his header into the net for the leveller.
12. Fred Onyedinma (SUB, STAR MAN): 6.5
Wouldn’t have expected to be introduced so early after his injury lay-off, but although not at his best, had the impact Jones wanted. Made it 1-1 moments after half time and his run led to Town's leveller. Almost won it but for the crossbar.
