Luton Town recorded back-to-back victories for the first time this season after triumphing 2-0 at managerless Hull City on Friday night.
The visitors went ahead early on through Alfie Jones’ own goal, before Henri Lansbury secured the points with a truly magnificent strike from 35 yards on the stroke of half time.

5. Dan Potts: 8
Might have doubled Luton’s advantage early on when his diving header was collected by keeper Baxter. Fortunate moment when Slater’s drive deflected off his head and hammered against the bar. Kept things tight when Hull looked to pull a goal back in the second period as Town remained solid and earned successive wins for the first time this term. Photo: Liam Smith

6. Amari’i Bell: 7.5
Kept his place in the side despite travelling back from America late in the week after going up against Messi for the Jamaican national team. Had the odd sticky moment when he almost got dispossessed on half-way and then nervy clearance gave away a needless second half corner, but barring that, jetlag didn't appear to catch up with him. 7. Henri Lansbury: 8
His goal and lawnmower celebration will be remembered for a long, long time by anyone who watching either live or on Sky Sports. Doubtful anyone else on the pitch had the technique to find the net from there, as it was a strike of serious top drawer quality. His corner led to Town’s opening goal as well, picking out Adebayo who crashed against the bar before hitting Jones to cross the line. Photo: George Wood

8. Allan Campbell: 7.5
Ability to receive the ball from Town's back-line and use his body to get away from the Hull midfielders allowed Luton to break the lines during their impressive first half display. After the break, he got about his opponents as usual, making sure that their higher level of possession didn't ever amount to a great deal in terms of opportunities. Photo: George Wood
