Luton fell to a fifth straight away defeat on Wednesday night as they were no match for an impressive Leeds side who had little trouble in moving to the top of the table with a comfortable victory.
To find out how the Hatters players rated during the evening, see below.
1. Thomas Kaminski - (STAR MAN): 6.5
Goalkeeper had a busy evening at Elland Road as the hosts had 11 shots on goal in total, three of them finding the net in the end. No chance with Byram’s volley but did well to save Struijk's header only to see none of his defenders react in time and Piroe pounce to make it 2-0. Lobbed late on by James, but also saved Joseph's header in the closing stages and saved his best until the end when denying Bogle a fourth in stoppage time as his handling was generally secure throughout. 2. Reece Burke: 4
Although a centre half by trade, he was asked to play the right wingback role once more, despite Moses being available. Found it very difficult to get to grips with Solomon who was on the attack from minute one, cutting in off the flank to create a number of dangerous moments for United. Big opportunity to make it 1-1 only to head Morris's inviting cross wide of the target and then lost Piroe after Kaminski's save, the attacker doubling Leeds' lead. Quad problem meant he didn't reappear for the second half. Photo: Richard Pelham
3. Teden Mengi: 5.5
Switched off at the crucial moment inside his own area to ball-watch, allowing Byram to react first to Clark’s block and score a stylish opener. Did then keep his wits about him when Leeds pressed afterwards, which was often, as he reached double figures in terms of clearances, adding a number of blocks and interceptions to his name as well. Good positioning stopped Piroe making it 3-0 and went on to display some nice touches, plus the odd crossfield pass after the break, with one effort charged down too, although it was nowhere near enough for a well beaten Hatters. 4. Mark McGuinness: 5.5
One of three players who couldn't react in time to stop Byram from taking to the air and firing the Whites in front at Elland Road. Although pulled out of position on occasion, he did manage to read the play well when Leeds got down the wings, often in the right place to clear the danger away, as Town came under a pretty constant threat from the returning table-toppers. Hasn't been able to stop the Hatters becoming a real soft touch on the road though with yet another three goals conceded. Photo: George Wood
