Luton fell to a 3-0 defeat against last season's play-off finalists Brentford on Saturday. Rico Henry, Ivan Toney and Marcus Forss were on target for a Bees side who were far too good on the day, restricting the Hatters to just one shot on target all afternoon. To find out how the hosts rated, see below.
5. Matty Pearson: 4.5
Couldn’t prevent Town falling 2-0 behind against a top drawer Bees side and with Jones moving away from the three centre halves in a bid to gain an attacking foothold before half time, he was the one to make way.
6. Sonny Bradley: 5.5
Found the prolific Toney a real handful, the striker bagging a ninth goal of the season already from close range, as Brentford were just far too good for the Hatters on the day, creating a host of chances.
7. Glen Rea: 4.5
Not too often he had a bad day, but gave the ball away on numerous occasions, never a good ploy against Brentford. Dropped into defence for the second half and bar one Canos piece of skill, looked at home in the back-line.
8. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: 4.5
Got on the ball now and again, but such was the quality of Bees’ defending, he often had to turn back to find a team-mate. Gave possession away cheaply for the third goal as Brentford attacked to slice through the hosts with ease.
