Luton put up an almighty fight against Premier League giants Manchester United in their third round tie last night before eventually going out of the competition. Juan Mata's first half penalty put the Red Devils in front, before England internationals Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood netted late on to ensure victory. To find out how the hosts rated on the evening, see below.

. James Shea: 8.5
Had a busy night as expected with the star attractions in United’s line-up. Fine stop from Mata in the first half, while denying Matic and van de Beek after the break were his best moments. Harsh to concede three with the late goals.

. Peter Kioso: 8.5
Meteoric rise for the youngster who was up against Premier League Manchester United after playing for Hartlepool in the National League just 12 months ago. Barely put a foot wrong as he never let the occasion get to him.

. Rhys Norrington-Davies: 9
Unbelievable reserves of energy from the on-loan Sheffield United defender who somehow churned out another yet 90 minutes of high intensity. Got tight to his man, overlapped well, with one excellent cross almost setting up Clark.

. Tom Lockyer (STAR MAN): 9
Only his second game for Luton, but the centre half looks an excellent addition to the ranks. Kept United quiet for large periods, some wonderful distribution and almost levelled the tie late one but for Henderson's outstretched arm.

. Sonny Bradley: 9
Like Norrington-Davies, managed another full game and kept his standards exceedingly high. Seems to have gone up a gear from last season, as his passing out from the back allows Town to build in their their groove.
