Luton failed to end their hoodoo against Stoke City as they were beaten 1-0 by their play-off chasing opponents on Saturday. Jacob Brown's 34th minute goal was enough to separate the sides as Town couldn't find a leveller, Admiral Muskwe going closest when hitting the bar in the second period. To find out how the hosts rated on the afternoon, see below.
9. Allan Campbell (STAR MAN): 6.5
Back in the starting line-up for the first time since suffering ligament damage against Blackburn and got about the pitch with real energy and enthusiasm. Nipped into challenges and closed down well to try and win the ball back for Luton.
10. Harry Cornick: 5
One real chance in the first half but with far more time than he expected turned tamely into the gloves of Bursik. Header after the break summed up a tough afternoon as he was well marshalled and with service lacking, ended up replaced.
11. Elijah Adebayo: 5.5
Had the odd moment where he was able to twist his way past a City defender, but they were wise to his tricks, giving him nothing. With precious few chances created, had little to work with and usually beaten in the air by the towering Souttar.
12. Fred Onyedinma (SUB): 6
Came on to try and create an equaliser for the Hatters and almost did just that, as with Luton winning the ball back high up, his cross met by Muskwe only to cannon against the woodwork.
