Luton were beaten 2-0 by Stoke City at Kenilworth Road on Saturday, as they dropped points for the first time on home soil in the league this term. Two goals in the space of 10 minutes from Steven Fletcher and Nick Powell proved the difference, as Town were unable to mount a comeback. To find out how the Hatters rated on the afternoon, see below.
1. Simon Sluga: 7
Very little came his way and can count himself unfortunate to be beaten twice on the day. Distribution impressed and a good stop late on prevented a third, while almost grabbed a consolation himself, heading straight at Davies.
2. Martin Cranie: 7.5
Dependable on the day once more, his positional sense was spot on at times, covering round to deflect Campbell’s close range effort after he had waltzed through. Always an option for Sluga as well.
3. Rhys Norrington-Davies (STAR MAN): 8
Back from Wales duty and showed no signs of any tiredness with another energetic display, always joining in with the hosts' attacks. Almost capped a superb week with his first Town goal too, seeing an effort deflected inches over.
4. Matty Pearson: 7
Defender might have given Luton a lifeline, swivelling to volley over after a corner dropped to him. Got caught out by Campbell’s brilliant cross as Fletcher powered home the opener just moments after half time.
