Luton suffered a harsh defeat to high-flying Swansea City on Saturday, beaten 1-0 at Kenilworth Road. An early goal from on-loan Aston Villa midfielder Conor Hourihane proved the difference as although Town dominated, they couldn't find an equaliser. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Sonny Bradley: 8
Like Pearson, he kept the Swans front three quiet for long periods and appeared to be on the verge of helping Town keep a second clean sheet of the campaign until Ayew struck late on.
6. Jacob Butterfield: 8
A real calming influence in Lutons midfield as he got the ball off his defenders and moved it well, keeping Town on the front foot as they had a good attacking spell in the first half. Hatters were under the cosh when he went off.
7. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 7.5
Energetic display from the midfielder who had his work cut out against a high-class opposition. Kept his discipline and had some good moments on the left hand side when getting one-on-one with his marker.
8. Andrew Shinnie: 7
Back in after missing the Preston match as Luton reverted to the diamond. Made some decent runs forward, seeing Woodman tip one effort over from outside the box and unable to keep a difficult diving header down.
