Luton suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday as their search for a first Premier League win at Kenilworth Road continued.
Despite the visitors playing the second half a man down once Yves Bissouma was sent off, defender Micky van de Ven scored the only goal on 53 minutes to send Spurs top of the table.
To find out how the Hatters players rated on the afternoon, see below.

5. Alfie Doughty: 6.5
Found his chances to gallop away and deliver heavily restricted in the opening 45 minutes as Luton struggled to get over the halfway line. The red card helped immeasurably, as space opened up, dragging a volley wide and seeing another shot deflect over. Crossing not quite at its best on this occasion, although still picked out Brown who headed off target. Switched off for a second as Maddison nipped around him from a short corner routine to set up the winner. Photo: Liam Smith

6. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 6.5
Spent the first half seeing very little of the ball as Spurs kept it away from Luton as they looked certain to open the scoring at any minute. Once they didn’t, the midfielder began to be able to get tighter to his opponents and even start winning the ball back to help Town get up the pitch themselves. Good vision set up a chance for Doughty, but withdrawn midway through the second period. Photo: Liam Smith

7. Marvelous Nakamba: 7
Under the pump in the early stages as Spurs made a strong start to proceedings, preventing any of Luton's players from getting on the ball. Top of the tackle count once more for the hosts as he kept possession well when Town actually had it. Might have opened his Hatters account when a shooting chance came his way in the first half, but sliced it well, well wide of the target. Photo: Liam Smith

8. Chiedozie Ogbene (STAR MAN): 8
Had the odd burst in the first half, brought down by Bissouma for a booking that saw the midfielder’s silly second indiscretion punished by a red. With space opening up after the break, he was able to get at his man and get the crowd on their feet, rolling a perfect cross for Adebayo to somehow miss the target. Went on a number of dribbles as he gave the visitors' back-line some real problems in his side's ultimately unsuccessful search for an equaliser. Photo: Liam Smith
