Luton were held to a 1-1 draw by Blackburn Rovers in their Championship clash at Kenilworth Road on Saturday. Luke Berry put Town in front on 69 minutes, only to see the visitors level just three minutes later through Sam Gallagher. To find out how the Hatters rated on the afternoon, see below.
1. Simon Sluga: 8
Made some important stops throughout, particularly in the second period as Blackburn threatened. Handling from Rothwell was spot on and then denied the midfielder from close range. Plucked some late crosses out of the air too.
2. Martin Cranie: 7
Was having a solid afternoon until beaten in the air by Douglas for Rovers to make it 1-1 just after Town had taken the lead. Fortunate to see Brereton booked for a supposed dive over his outstretched leg in stoppage time.
3. Rhys Norrington-Davies: 7.5
Didn’t look being away with Wales during the international break had done him harm whatsoever as he began with a real head of steam, sending one shot just wide. Slightly lucky to see a late challenge on Armstrong go unpunished.
4. Matty Pearson: 7
Reverted to his usual centre half role after a few matches on the right hand side of defence and got stuck with his usual gusto. Distribution wasn’t quite at its best at times though and lost Gallagher for the equaliser.
