Luton produced a hugely disappointing performances as they were beaten 2-1 by Cardiff City on Saturday. The hosts led after 10 minutes through Rubin Colwill's header, before Jordan Clark's first goal of the season just after the hour mark made it all square. Late on, Sean Morrison powered home to win it for the Bluebirds and to find out how the hosts rated on the afternoon, see below.
9. Jordan Clark: 6.5
One of four players to escape criticism from boss Jones as he at least tried to impact the game by running at the City defence. Good break into the box and cool finish for a first goal of the season. Might have had a second, slicing wide.
10. Harry Cornick: 5
Recalled to partner Adebayo but the pair had very little in terms of service, as he was often left chasing the City defenders or caught offside. Did break free once in the second period, Smithies beating him to a deflected cross.
11. Elijah Adebayo: 6
Tough 90 minutes for the forward who was well marshalled by the Bluebirds' back-line. Did escape their attentions now and again, one cross just cleared, then doing extremely well to control Naismith's ball in and pick out Clark to make it 1-1.
12. Fred Onyedinma (SUB): 5
Dropped to the bench for Bell as Jones looked for a more solid set-up against Cardiff. His introduction came with Luton on top, Town equalising soon afterwards, but the head of steam was punctured by City's winner.
