Danny Hylton scored his second goal in as many games to ensure Luton made it three Championship wins in a row for the first time this season by seeing off Derby County 1-0 at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.
The forward struck in the 67th minute from Cameron Jerome's knock-down as the Hatters climbed into the play-off places and to find out how the hosts rated on the afternoon, see below.
9. Allan Campbell: 7.5
Such a livewire in midfield as he gets the crowd going just by the breathless nature of his constant closing down. Won his tackles well and was able to drive at the Rams defence after the break opting to pass when another long-ranger was on.
10. Harry Cornick: 6.5
Struggled to really get into proceedings and repeat his efforts from the second half against Stoke on Wednesday as one cross apart, Town lacked the zest that boss Jones wanted. Made way for a more physical Jerome after the break.
11. Elijah Adebayo: 7
Had a good battle against ex-Hatter Davies as the pair didn’t give each other an inch during the contest. One sighter from Cornick’s cross but went with his right rather than left. Clever movement helped make the space for Hylton to win it.
12. Danny Hylton (SUB): 8
On for Lansbury early in the second half and there won’t be more of a popular scorer than when he found the bottom corner for a first home goal since March 2019. Used all his experience to then ensure Town saw the game out.
