Luton fell just short in their attempts to gain another point to their Premier League survival hopes when they were beaten 2-1 by Manchester United at Kenilworth Road on Sunday evening.
The Hatters had fallen 2-0 down inside seven minutes when Rasmus Højlund scored twice, before Carlton Morris quickly pulled one back. The hosts then gave everything in their attempts to level, but couldn’t breach the Red Devils’ goal again, and to find out how the Town players rated, see below.

One of two to miss out following the previous home defeat, he came on as part of a double sub that also saw Townsend introduced, getting on the ball whenever he could and looking to venture deep into Manchester United territory. Tried to find the killer final pass as the Hatters did their utmost to pull level, as his wonderful turn by the byline almost caught out Amrabat, but Luton had to make do with a corner. Yet more minutes for the midfielder as he came on for Doughty in the closing stages and took over the corner-taking duties from Luton's wingback. Delivered some excellent set-pieces that saw the Hatters go close, none more so than when Barkley glanced narrowly over with the final attempt. Photo: Liam Smith
