Luton suffered a bitterly disappointing 2-1 defeat to Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
Town had led 1-0 with just 10 minutes to go thanks to Carlton Morris’s third goal of the season, only to concede twice in the closing stages, Tom Lockyer putting through his own net and then Thelo Aasgaard curling home from 20 yards.

13. Harry Cornick (SUB): 5
Good to see him back following his injury lay-off but rustiness was apparent as he wasn’t able to ever really get the after-burners on and be the threat Jones wanted in the final 20 minutes. Photo: Liam Smith

14. Cameron Jerome (SUB): 4.5
Striker had a great chance to make it 2-0, robbing Tilt in his own area, but rather than shoot or find Cornick, he dallied, the defender getting back to tackle, leaving his penalty appeals waved away. Disappointingly offside from Bree's free kick as Town thought they had levelled late on too. Photo: Liam Smith

15. Luke Berry (SUB): 5
Part of a questionable double substitution that saw Luton chase the game in the final seven minutes in an attempt to win it, but ultimately ended up throwing two points away. Photo: Liam Smith

16. Fred Onyedinma (SUB): 6
Tried to get forward in the closing stages and set up a winner for the Hatters, but Wigan’s defence, unlike Luton’s, held firm. Photo: Liam Smith
