Luton ended a wait of nearly 30 years to beat Barnsley in the league at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night with a 2-1 success. Allan Campbell scored the opening goal in the first period, before Elijah Adebayo's penalty on the hour sealed victory. To find out how the Town players rated on the evening, see below.
5. Gabe Osho: 6.5
Part of a back-line that never looked convincing in the first half, unable to stop Morris equalising. Thought he might have notched a first Luton goal but his celebration was in vain, Campbell with the strike. Taken off as Town changed shape.
6. Kal Naismith: 5.5
Nothing really worked for the Scot during the 90 minutes as he found himself dispossessed with Town continually putting themselves in trouble. Caught out for the leveller, as although steadier after the break, still something of a rare off night.
7. Henri Lansbury: 5.5
Wasteful in possession during a below-bar first half which is unlike the midfielder and summed up Luton’s tough evening. Managed to find his men with more regularity later on and helped Town see out the win with very few scares.
8. Allan Campbell (STAR MAN): 7.5
Becoming a real goalscoring midfielder now with his third in seven league games, showing a great determination to bundle the ball over the line. Didn’t neglect his duties and might have made it 3-1, just unable to get over his header.
