The Hatters had fallen behind early on, but showed real character to bounce back and level through Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu, before Izzy Brown won it in the second half. Here's how the Town players rated on the night.
5. Sonny Bradley: 7.5
Caught out early on as he gave the ball away and was then outpaced by Leko for the opener. Recovered well, cutting out a number of Charlton deliveries into the box, pushing his team forward when they dropped too deep.
6. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 9
Kept up his reputation for only scoring bangers with a drilled finish on his weaker left foot. Outmuscled his opponents as he constantly got Luton up the pitch and is surely becoming a mainstay of the Town midfield now.
7. Andrew Shinnie: 8.5
Excellent performance from the midfielder, as he was always ready to receive the ball under pressure. Won possession back to find Brown for the winner and denied a stunning strike of his own by the woodwork.
8. Izzy Brown (STAR MAN): 9
Becoming an absolutely integral part of the Hatters team as he is now able to last 90 minutes too. Great range of passing and a well-taken first goal could lift him to another level still now.
