The hosts had led through Allan Campbell’s 22-yard strike just after the hour mark, before Teemu Pukki quickly levelled.

Showed remarkable powers of recovery to return so quickly from a fractured back and lead the Hatters out once more. Should really have had an assist when his header was glanced wide by Adebayo in the first half. Got his legs in a tangle as Pukki escaped to make it 1-1, but apart from that one slip, it was a solid showing from the skipper. Photo: Liam Smith
Displayed some real determination as he got stuck in on the left flank, particularly first half, never giving his Norwich opponents a second on the ball. Earned Town an extra two points in stoppage time as he positioned himself perfectly to head Hanley’s close range volley off the line when the City defender looked certain to have equalised. Midfielder was given a bit more license on the night by new boss Edwards and it paid real dividends. Got on the ball to drive forward in the way only he can, unleashing one thunderous blast that was charged down, with Gibbs booked for bringing him down too. Did his bit defensively as well, making one terrific sliding block in the closing stages as the Hatters clung on. Photo: Liam Smith
A goal threat from early on, as he fired wide via a deflection in the early stages. Did well to sniff out the opener, intercepting a sideways pass before, as he did on more than one occasion last term, powering forward to pick out the bottom corner and give Town the lead. His pressing was key to Norwich being unable to dictate proceedings before making way for Freeman late on. Photo: Liam Smith
