Luton Town bounced back from their hammering at Mansfield with a 2-0 victory over Stockport County on Wednesday evening.
Nahki Wells opened the scoring early in the second half, before Callum Marshall netted a sublime strike from 25 yards to double the advantage as the points remained in Bedfordshire. To find out how the Hatters rated on the night, see below.

Defender moved to the left of the back three to allow Andersen in centrally, as an incident with Diamond early on saw the visiting attacker rather ungainly leave his head in while the centre back was on the floor, although it didn't lead to any punishment from the officials. Occasionally found himself as a left back due to Luton's fluidity in their formation, but always demonstrated his desire to defend, often clearing the danger away when Stockport were applying the pressure. Read the play well to ensure a fair few long balls from the visitors ended up flying through to Keeley as County searched for a way back during the second half. Photo: Andy Fitzimons

Deserved full League One debut for the academy graduate following some exciting displays off the bench, as took over from an out-of-form Lawrence and moved into the left wingback role. Always a buzz when the ball is on his flank and he starts to stretch his legs, which he managed to do a few times in the first period when released by midfielder Palmer, sending one cross into the box. With his position requiring a need to be switched on defensively too, the teenager made sure he was that, winning all three of his tackles. Looked to have picked up a slight injury issue in the closing stages of the first period and didn't reappear after the interval. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons

7. Liam Walsh: 6.5
Had some more protection alongside him on the night as new signing Gore helped share some of the defensive duties in front of the back three. Clearly being targeted by opposition teams now, as Stockport, like Mansfield, were pressing him whenever in possession, which meant the midfielder sometimes got caught inside his own half. Despite that, still very rarely gave the ball away when the Hatters were able to get it, able to be a bit more adventurous in the second period as Town were able to finally gain a foothold, sending Marshall through for his late chance. Bar one free kick that led to Wells' chance, not his best night for set-pieces, especially having set such a high bar. Photo: David Horn

8. Dan Gore: 7
First start for the Hatters having joined on loan from Manchester United late last week, slipping into the holding defensive midfield role fairly seamlessly, as importantly it allowed Palmer to move further forward. Clearly looks like he is happy to get stuck into the battle and put a tackle or two in, harshly booked during the second period for what was deemed a push on Diamond. Always neat and tidy in possession as well, which is to be expected for someone coming through the ranks at Old Trafford, as his battling nature and vision played a huge role in Town's opener. Managed to get through a hugely promising 65 minutes before making way for Richards. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons
