Luton secured their place in the second tier for another season with a drama-filled 3-2 win over Blackburn Rovers on Wednesday night. The visitors scored two own goals in the first half, before James Collins' penalty proved to be enough to keep the Hatters up. To find out how the hosts rated on the evening, see below.
5. Sonny Bradley: 9
Looked like he had made it 2-1 to Luton only for the strike to be awarded as an own goal. However, it was at the other end he starred when Town needed him most, his height proving vital in surviving the late aerial bombardment.
6. Glen Rea: 8.5
Midfielder once again proved a key component of Towns defensive screen as he was part of the huge effort to get the ball out of harms way during those final heart-stopping moments. New contract a must.
7. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 8.5
Deserves huge praise for the repeat performances he has been able to produce game after game since lockdown ended. Yet another display full of energy as he got about the pitch with real gusto.
8. Luke Berry (STAR MAN): 9
Has been a revelation in recent weeks and was at it again last night. Did the dirty side of the game as he harried and hassled the Rovers' midfield all evening, while never afraid to get on the ball, with one delicious pass sending Cornick away.
