Luton defeated table-topping Bournemouth 3-2 in match that will live long in the memory at Kenilworth Road on Saturday. The hosts had led 2-0 at the break through Lloyd Kelly's own goal and Allan Campbell's strike, before Emiliano Marcondes and Morgan Rogers levelled in the second period. However, Kal Naismith stepped up with the very last kick to win it and to find out how the hosts rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Sonny Bradley: 9
Kept one of the leading hotshots in the division quiet for pretty much the entire afternoon, Cherries' main man Solanke barely threatening Town’s goal. Was involved in the opposition area too, flicking on for Luton's opener.
6. Kal Naismith (STAR MAN): 9.5
Etched his name into Luton folklore with a quite brilliant strike in the very last second, keeping his cool to find the bottom corner and send Kenilworth Road into scenes of total ecstasy that will be remembered for a very long time.
7. Allan Campbell: 8.5
Got through plenty of good work in closing down his opponents when they dominated possession. Also showed he can be a threat at the other end, finding the bottom corner from 20 yards. Forced off with hopefully just a slight knock.
8. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 8
Has seen plenty during his eight years at Luton, but won’t have heard too many noises as deafening as that before. Inviting cross led to Luton’s first and was in there for the winner, seeing his thunderous volley deflecting away.
