Luton dropped points yet again at home on Tuesday night, held to a 3-3 draw by Huddersfield Town.
After recovering from trailing 2-1 in the first period to lead 3-2 at the break, with Elijah Adebayo netting twice and Jordan Clark on target, the Hatters then scored their second own goal of the evening via Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu’s header to gift their opponents a point with 20 minutes to go.

Won’t be able to fathom that after a fairly quiet evening, he ended up having to pick the ball out of his net three times in the 90 minutes, two times from his own players. One nervy moment when a cross squirmed out of his hands, but he was solid when the ball came near him more often than not. 2. Fred Onyedinma: 7.5
Back in the starting line-up after Burke’s hamstring injury as he slotted in at wingback. Few bursts up the flank in the first period, while one penetrating sprint after the break saw him beat his man, as the opportunity might have led to more. Looked to be defending solidly until a mix-up with Mpanzu led to the corner which Huddersfield levelled from. Replaced by Bradley with 10 to go. Photo: Liam Smith
3. James Bree: 8
Put in a huge shift that started out as one of Town’s back three and then further forward when he moved to his more natural wing-back role late on. Brilliantly determined 40-yard run that started inside his own half set up Clark for his goal, while set-pieces deserved more, Adebayo heading two over the bar in the second period. Photo: Liam Smith
4. Tom Lockyer: 8
Yet again, he kept two good Championship strikers quiet with Ward and Rhodes not having a great deal of the ball in open play. Won his headers as usual and cut out some dangerous crosses, so will be bemused at shipping three on the night.
