Luton produced their best display of the season to pick up a magnificent 3-0 win over Preston North End on Saturday. James Collins was the hero with a brilliant hat-trick, his fifth for the club, to simply blow away their opponents. To find out how the hosts rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Sonny Bradley: 9
After Stockley escaped to put an early header over, Town’s captain stuck to him like glue afterwards, ensuring he went off after a miserable hour. Prevented the ball ever reaching Preston's forwards for most of the game in yet another clean sheet.
6. Glen Rea: 9.5
Had a massive influence on the game as he combatively patrolled the area in front of the back four to ensure there was little way through for the visiting attackers. Grabbed an assist too, setting up Collins for his second.
7. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: 9.5
Right back on it after a quiet outing at Coventry, as he was at his best once more, nipping into the win the ball back, using it ever so effectively. Finds space where it doesn't look possible and just needs to work on his shooting a bit now!
8. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 9
Quite gorgeous ball over the top of the Preston defence to pick out the run of Collins for the opener with a move off the training ground. Might have scored himself after Luton’s press worked wonders, firing over with Rudd out of position.
