Luton ended their long wait for victory over QPR on Saturday with a terrific 3-1 win at Kenilworth Road.
The hosts led through Elijah Adebayo’s third goal of the season in the first half, before Jimmy Dunne’s own goal doubled their lead after the break.
Late on, an unfortunate deflection from Ethan Horvath saw the visitors pull one back, but Luke Freeman then tapped home to seal victory.

9. Jordan Clark: 8.5
Another who excelled on the day, as he was behind the majority of Town’s attacking moves in the first half, some lovely close control, body feints and swerves getting away from his markers to advance into some dangerous areas. Only really took the wrong option once, when nicking the ball off Freeman’s toes as the sub was readying to shoot, but remains in some seriously good form at the moment. Photo: Liam Smith

10. Elijah Adebayo: 8.5
Although he scored twice against Huddersfield, this was the Adebayo of old as he was a real nuisance to the QPR defenders, particularly in the first half. Got on the ball to link well with his team-mates, and almost had an assist before taking up the right position to make sure Morris’s cross received the finishing touch. Really promising signs both individually and his burgeoning partnership with Morris. Photo: Liam Smith

11. Carlton Morris: 8.5
Name-checked by Rangers boss Beale as one the main reasons why his side struggled on the day and ended up losing their five game unbeaten run. Weighted his cross perfectly to set Adebayo up once more and although he couldn’t add to his own tally, his work-rate for almost 70 minutes was key to Town extending their own undefeated sequence. 12. Cameron Jerome (SUB): 8
Part of a brilliant triple substitution from Jones as with the visitors getting on top, he made sure the defenders didn’t have an easy ride for the final 20 minutes. Nipped in to win a short pass ahead of Dunne and his pace led to the own goal that gave Luton some breathing space. Almost set up a third too as he did exactly what his manager had requested.
