Luton enjoyed a dramatic 3-2 victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday. The hosts trailed 2-0 in the first half, Josh Windass scoring twice, before hitting back magnificently after the break, Kal Naismith, Ryan Tunnicliffe and Elijah Adebayo all on target. To find out how the hosts rated on an absorbing afternoon, see below.
5. Jordan Clark: 6.5
Started off as a right wingback, before moving out to the left in a dismal first half for the Hatters and then switched to right back in the second period as Town turned things around quite dramatically.
6. Kal Naismith: 8
Began on the left but quickly dropped into central defence to try and stem the flow. Was Town’s only member of the back-line to emerge with any credit in the first half, and then after the break, got the comeback going with a clever flicked finish.
7. Joe Morrell: 3
Town’s midfield was just completely overrun in the first half as Wednesday dominated from the off. No surprise really that he was one of the changes at the break as Luton tried to add a bit more bite in the centre of the pitch.
8. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: 7
His poorest 45 minutes in a Luton shirt to begin with, caught in possession for the opener and unable to get going. All changed after the interval though, his corner turned in by Naismith and played a vital part in the second too.
